90年代音響派ユニットASTEROID DESERT SONGS（A.D.S.）のメンバーであり、カヒミ・カリィや嶺川貴子らへの楽曲提供、00年代DCPRGやsalyu×salyu、あまちゃんスペシャル・ビッグバンド、井の頭レンジャーズのギタリストとしても知られる音楽家、高井康生のオウン・プロジェクトAhh! Folly Jetの新作７インチが発売決定です。

“デイヴィッド・ホックニーのプールサイドミュージック”をテーマに録りおろされた季節はずれのプールソング集となる本作、A面には縦横無尽なリズム隊を軸に崩壊ギリギリの変形リズム＆ブルーズを鉄壁のバンドアンサブルで奏でたカオティックかつソウルフルなエレクトロ・ファンク曲「Duck Float」を収録。

B面「HEF」はプレイボーイ・マンションのプールサイド・パーティーをモチーフに描かれており、トロピカル・ムード漂うしっとりとしたリズムに、芳醇な鍵盤と甘く艶やかな歌声のゆったりとしたアンサンブルに酔いしれる、エレガントで心地よい仕上がりに。コンセプトに見事にハマったアートワークは、人気イラストレーター・デザイナーのジェリー鵜飼が手がけています。
